NYSAMPO’s eight technical working groups are an important part of the Association’s work. The Working Groups exemplify cost-effective collaboration that yields benefits for MPO member agencies, including their state and federal partners that participate directly in them. The working groups were established several years ago and have evolved to address the issues and opportunities that MPOs may need to consider in their respective metropolitan transportation planning process. The 2023-2024 Working Group Work Program provides an overview of the Working Groups and their individual goals and tasks for the current fiscal year.
